Guided comprehensive astronomy activity in La Palma. This activity include the use of telescopes for the observation of night sky objects such as: visible planets and the Moon, stars, galaxies, nebuloses and star clusters Also, they include sky orientation using constellations and detailed explanations by expert astronomy guides.
Site: These astronomy tours take place in one of the viewpoints suitable for amateur astronomy and are guided by qualified personnel (astrophysicists). There are 16 of such viewpoints around the island. See more below.

Transfers from and to the picking point are optional (minimum number of 6 people apply). Transfer placements need to be booked at time of reservation.
This activity is subject to weather conditions. In case of cancellations, we will communicate with you via email/mobile phone as soon as possible. Occasionally, this can happen last minute.

Duration: approximately 4 h, taking into account driving time to the location for the activity.
Access to viewpoint. Self-drive customers or customers with transfer will leave from meeting point in convoy.
Cancellations: safaris may be canceled unexpectedly due to weather conditions: clouds, wind, high humidity. In the event of a cancellation, we first reschedule the safari date and if not possible we reimburse your tickets. Also, you may cancel up 24hrs prior to the safari, with a issuance cost of 20%. Later cancellationby customer/group are non-refundable.

* We strongly advise customers to wear winter clothes & shoes even in summer and even if at sea level is hot.
* Safaris will take places preferably at viewpoints. However, at times, this is not possible for which we will find an alternative dark & safe site. Our astronomy (night) tours do NOT take place at the Observatory at any time as it is closed to the public at night. However, the Observatory in El Roque de Los Muchachos is open for visits during the day (reservations orm.astrocamp.es & Observatory´s website at iac.es).
